Liverpool star forward Mohamed Salah has revealed that local food Kushari is his favourite Egyptian meal and it gives him all the energy he needs to play football.
The 25-year-old made this known in a CNN feature interview with award winning journalist Becky Anderson.
Salah when asked by Anderson what is his favourite Egyptian food, He answered: "Kuahari" Lake went ahead asking the star forward to explain what that is and Salah continued: "I love it, it's pasta with rice with sauce, with spices, it's mixed but it's complicated, but for me the best"
Kushari, Mo Salah's favourite food was originally made in the 19th century in Egypt and it is widely loved by the masses in Egypt, making it a top priority for local vendors.
Salah who went further to explain his love for Kushari said: I told my friend to bring me one, (and when he brings it) i eat it in the car.
