Former Real Madrid president, Ramon Calderon, has hinted that his successor Florentino Perez will never sack current team boss Zinedine Zidane.

Calderon believes that Zidane will only leave Los Blancos on his own accord.

Speaking to British media, The Sun Calderon said: "Zidane will leave the club when he decides. He was not willing to be a coach."

"I do not think he wanted to coach when he was a player. He accepted the job and was very brave.

"He did very well in this role. That's why I think the president will never fire him.

"If he's not here next year, it is because Zidane decides to leave."
