President Muhammadu Buhari will be arriving Abuja, Nigeria's capital city this evening, Thursday, May 3.
The president will be arriving the country after having met with the president of the United States of America Donald Trump in Washington DC.
President Buhari also stopped over in London after his meeting with Trump at the White House.
Recall that President Buhari arrived in Washington on Sunday, April 29 and had a series of bilateral meetings with Trump, including a working launch and a joint press briefing.
The spokesperson for the president, Femi Adesina, in a tweet said: "PMB arrives Abuja this evening. The good work of rebuilding Nigeria continues."
NAIJ.com earlier reported that President Buhari was in London after his successful bilateral meeting the US president.
Describing his itinerary, the presidency said President Buhari made a "technical stopover" in London.

The senior special assistant on media and publicity Garba Shehu said the president had left Washington DC on Tuesday, May 2, after his Monday meeting with President Trump.
Shehu had also assured that the president would be returning to the country soon and that there was nothing to worry about President Buhari's trip to London.
He said: "They had a technical stopover in London. I am sure if you keep your ears to the ground, you will hear of his arrival soon.”
