Multichoice boss John Ugbe reveals why Cee-C was not disqualified during the BBNaija 2018 show

- The CEO of Multichoice has thrown more light on the reasons BBNaija finalists, Cee-C was not disqualified from the show

- According to him, she followed the rules of the game

- This is contrary to the beliefs of many viewers who felt her attitude should have gotten her disqualified

John Ugbe, MD/CEO Multichoice, recently revealed reasons why Cee-C made it till the end of the show despite the numerous call for her disqualification.

In a recent press briefing held in honour of the BBNaija 2018 finalist, he revealed that the controversial housemate, Cee-C, together with the other housemates, made it to the finals because they followed the rules of the reality game show.

From injuring Lolu, fighting Tobi, destroying her Payporte party dress, many had expected she would be disqualified due to her attitude but she surprisingly remained the house until the end of the show.

Mr John Ugbe went on to debunk the rumours and allegations that some of the housemates were placed in the house by the sponsors of the show.

He has this to say: “Those questions about her (Cee-c) disqualification would always come. I think when the show started; there was a perception that some housemates were placed into the house by the sponsors to win the show. Then it switched by the next week

At every point, the housemates were aware of the rules of being in the house, and those were adhered to throughout. At the end of the day guys, it’s a game, and the rules were adhered to. Throughout the time the housemates were in the house, there was fairness.

At a time we heard about the votes, and then, week after week, we published those percentages and people saw the reality behind the numbers. Often times when people complain and we ask them: “Did you vote?” They tell you – “I actually forgot to vote.”

Meanwhile, Miracle and Nina who recently arrived at their hometown, Imo state, have since been honoured and given cash gifts by Governor Rochas. BBNaija winner, Miracle, not only got N2m but also given a plot of land in any area of his choice and
