It's a waste of resource to give a poor person a car as gift - Pastor

- A Ghanaian prophet, founder of Glorious Wave Ministry, Emmanuel Badu Kobi, has challenged the mentality of the low class in his congregation

- The cleric made a bold statement recently, claiming that gifting a poor person a car is a waste of resources

- His argument is that a luxurious car will cost a lot to manage and the "poor" person might lack such financial prowess

Ghanaian prophet, founder of Glorious Wave Ministry, Emmanuel Badu Kobi, pointed out that gifting a "poor" person a car is detrimental to their meager resources as opposed to a liberation from their stagnant financial state.

Badu who attests to being a wealthy man as blessed by God, is known for his generosity in his church. As happy as the cleric is to distribute cars to members of his assembly, he is of the opinion that doing the same for a "poor" person is a waste of resources.

Based on his logic, a financially inept person will have trouble managing a car because of the expenses it will bring in the long run. He, however, phrased his opinion in such way that it is now causing controversy online.

He boldly stated in a recent interview: "I can't give any poor member a car gift." emphasising, he can only help out hardworking members with such gifts.

He further explained that the poor person, including his church member, may not be able to manage a luxurious car financially.

Meanwhile, a popular Ghanaian counselor, George Lutterodt recently boldly proclaimed that the King James Bible is only for transgenders.
