- Frenchman Anthony Martial is expected to be on his way to Juventus this summer
- Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is said to have given the green light on the move
- This latest development will not be a good one for Chelsea who also want Martial
Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho has reportedly approved the transfer of Frenchman Anthony Martial to Italian club Juventus this summer.
After falling down the pecking order this season at Old Trafford, Anthony Martial has been linked with a move away from the Red Devils with Chelsea interested in signing him.
But according to the report by Tuttosport, United manager Jose Mourinho does not want Anthony Martial to join the Blues and he has therefore given the green light for him to move to Italy.
Any deal would need to be rubber stamped by the United board, but Mourinho has been well supported by the club's top brass since joining in 2016.
Since the arrival of Chile international Alexis Sanchez, Anthony Martial has lost his place in Manchester United first team as Mourinho prefers the ex Arsenal attacker.
Martial will want to win the 2017/18 FA Cup title on May 19 with Manchester United before his imminent departure at Old Trafford.
Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho is reportedly ready to sell Frenchman Anthony Martial this summer if he wants to leave Old Trafford.
There have been reports that Martial is tired of lack of active playing time this season under Jose Mourinho at Manchester United and facing the exit doors could be his next option.
Anthony Martial played 90 minutes in United's 2-0 win at Bournemouth but was an unused substitute in the FA Cup semi final where United defeated Tottenham.
