President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday, May 7, expressed condolence over the reported killing of people in another attack in Gwaska village, Birnin Gwari local government area of Kaduna state on Saturday, May 5.
The president in a series of tweet said in order to bring an end to the bloodletting by bandits and ensure that the criminals behind it are brought to justice, he has approved a new military battalion, a new police area command, and two additional Div Police HQs, for the area.
He vowed that the federal government will do everything in its power, to ensure the security of lives and property in Kaduna state and all other troubled areas.

NAIJ.com had previously reported that less than one week after the massacre of local miners at Janruwa village, in Birnin-Gwari local government area of the state, 27 people were killed in another attack in Gwaska village on Saturday, May 5.
The armed bandits from neighbouring Zamfara state, encircled Gwaska up to Kuiga village around 2.30pm, shooting sporadically and killing people mostly children.
The bandits reportedly burnt down the village of about 3,000 inhabitants and survivors mostly women are taking refuge at Doka district in the area.
