There was reportedly commotion in a village in Cross River state after a wild gorilla met a farmer in the bush and followed him home.
It was reported that residents of Bitiah Irruan village in Boki local government of the state gathered at the farmer’s house to witness and see the animal for themselves as many said such incident has never happened before.
Wondering why the animal could have followed the farmer home, villagers reportedly disclosed that it is possible the gorilla no longer had food to eat in the bush and hoped that the farmer would help manage his hunger.
The pictures of the gorilla and the farmer were shared on Facebook by a young man identified as Osang Gabriel. He shared the post with the caption: “Wonders shall not end. A gorilla followed a farmer from the bush to his house at Bitiah Irruan Boki, Cross River state to his living house alive.”
