Premier League giants, Manchester United, are reportedly set to accept Barcelona's £22m bid from Spanish giant Barcelona for out-of-favour midfielder Ander Herrera.
The Spaniard has been frozen out under Jose Mourinho this season and he has made many appearances coming off the bench.
The 28-year-old has declared his intentions of returning to Spain in the summer to reinvigorate his career and a potential return to former club Athletic Bilbao has been rumoured.
However, Spanish media El Gol Digital, reports that United are willing to accept Barcelona's opening offer for Herrera ahead of the summer window.
The move to the Nou Camp will see the midfielder reunited with former Bilbao boss Ernesto Valverde should the Barca boss keeps his current job.
Herrera has struggled for game time at Old Trafford this season following the arrival of Nemanja Matic in the summer.
He is yet to score in the Premier League this season, but stole the spot light when he netted the winner against Tottenham Hotspur to take the club to the FA Cup final on May 26.
