Following President Muhammadu Buhari's medical trip to the United Kingdom, the vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, is currently presiding over the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting.
The meeting is currently ongoing at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
It was gathered that the vice president is standing in for President Buhari who is scheduled to meet with his doctor in United Kingdom.
NAIJ.com earlier reported that President Buhari left Nigeria for UK on Tuesday, May 8.
The presidency in an announcement on Monday, May 7, said the president will be in the UK for four days to see his doctor.
It will be recalled that President Buhari had a technical stopover in UK after his trip to the United States where he met with President Donald Trump.
The presidency on Thursday, May 3, attributed Buhari's presence in London, United Kingdom to what it called “technical stopover.”
