NIGERIA. It’s Our Country & We can all make it better. We All have a role to play. Our Politicians are stealing us blind but we can’t balance that scale by stealing from one another. We can’t be motivational speakers only when it suits us. To create a better tomorrow, we have to clean up the today.

To make the county better, we all a role to play and we can start by making changes in our neighborhood. Media has to do a better balanced job. We collectively got this county here. People spend a lot of money to get into government then spend years stealing them back.

This got Simi’s attention as she took to her Instagram handle to share a story on her timeline. Her post also reads:

In other news: something has been bugging the hell outta me. We complain about how the rest of the world sees and treats us. They hear ‘Nigeria’ and the first thing that comes to mind is ‘fraudster’. They’re afraid to let us in their countries. Our passport makes them extra search us at the airport etc. It makes me feel so sad and ashamed because our potential is so rich and so overlooked and I honestly, truly thought we all felt that way. So I’m genuinely surprised that anyone is rooting for this BS. I was telling my guy ‘is scamming people now ok? Did I miss something?’ Why are there so many people defending it? Am I crazy? Cos if we’re thinking like this, don’t we deserve whatever mess we find ourselves in?
