Rambo Abuja most wanted kidnapper who shoots with 2 AK-47 rifles arrested

A notorious kidnapper in Abuja, Barau Ibrahim, who is also known as Rambo has been arrested on Sunday, May 14, by operatives of the Inspector General of Police Response Team (IRT) attached to Operation Absolute Sanity.

Rambo who gained notoriety for his ability to shoot with two AK-47 rifles at a time was arrested within Maraban Yakawada, Giwa local government area of Kaduna state.

Sahara Reporters reports that he had been terrorising Birnin Gwari area of Kaduna state, Abuja-Kaduna-Kano expressway and Zamfara state before his arrest on Sunday.

The report also claimed that the IRT operatives recovered two Ak47 rifles, two Ak-47 rifle magazines and 51 live ammunition with S/Nos: AD160102 and 1978AD4328 respectively.

Going further, the report says Gashin Baki, another member of the gang was also arrested. The IRT operatives also recovered VW Golf Car belonging to Rambo.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had reported that the Nigerian Army announced the arrest of one Bwesse H Tanimu, an alleged notorious criminal popularly known as Skin, in Taraba state as the efforts to rid some states in central part of the country continues to yield results.
