Be mindful of the task ahead - APC chieftain tells newly elected LG executives

- A member of the APC has tasked the newly elected local government executives in Abia state

- The party chieftain said all the APC executives must show readiness for the forthcoming 2019 general election

- Adiaso's warning followed the just concluded election of the LG executives in the state

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Chemberline Adiaso, has urged the newly elected local government executives of the party to work towards ensuring a successful outing at the 2019 general election.

Adiaso while congratulating the newly elected executives all over the 17 local government areas in Abia state said, it is important that the party members are made aware of the task ahead as executives.

He also commended the delegates of the party, security agencies and officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the peaceful election.

"I am of the opinion that you are all aware of the task with the new offices as we approach the general election year," Adiaso said.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com earlier reported that the national chairman of the APC, John Odigie-Oyegun, a former governor of Abia state, Orji Kalu, and many other party faithfuls had stormed the APC mega rally in Abia state.

During the rally, the former governor said he would do everything possible to bring the state back to APC.

The event also witnessed a massive turnout of members of APC in the state and its environs.
