According to him, all party members were given the opportunity to contest without any hinderance.
The chairman dismissed as false, claims by the 'APC Akida’ in the state that its members were not allowed to purchase forms to contest in the congresses.
"I am not aware of APC Akida, all I know is that we have sold forms to interested persons and all of them were allowed to contest. Though, in some places where there were consensus, some candidates stepped down for others to allow for their re-elections," he said.
Muhammad said that the committee had not received any complain on the conduct of local government congress, but had received one complaint on the ward congresses which had been resolved by the appeal panel.
