Nigeria international Kenneth Omeruo and his spouse Chioma Nnamani had their white wedding in Turkey on Tuesday, May 15.
The couple had already tied the knot traditionally on Saturday, December 30, 2017 in Enugu, and five months later, they had their white wedding ceremony.
Omeruo, whose loan deal with his Turkish League side Kasimpasa expires this summer revealed that he has known his partner for close to eight years before finally sealing their relationship with marriage.
Meanwhile, he will be super excited as he has also been called up in the 30-man provision squad for this year’s FIFA World Cup by head coach Gernot Rohr.
The 24-year-old is yet to feature for the Super Eagles since his blunder against Zambia in the first World Cup qualifiers in Ndola.
However, he will grab this invitation with both hands and give his very best to ensure he makes the 23-man team that will represent Nigeria in Russia next month.
Omeruo started his career as a youngster at Standard Liege in Belgium in 2010, and two years after, he was signed by Chelsea.
But since then, he is yet to feature for the Blues in any competitive game as he has spent the last six seasons on loan at different clubs in Europe.
Apart from Kasimpasa, he has also played on loan at these clubs ADO Den Haag, Middlesbrough, and Alanyaspor.
He was a member of the Super Eagles team that won the 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa under late coach Stephen Keshi.
Omeruo is expected to return to his parent club, Chelsea this summer at the end of the Turkish Lig this weekend and will be hoping to impress his coaches at Stamford Bridge this summer.
NAIJ.com previously reported that the Nigeria international, Kenneth Omeruo had married his long time heartthrob in Enugu late last year.
The defender is also said to have been dating his girlfriend for the past 8 years before finally taking the bold step to consolidate their relationship with marriage.
