Zlatan Ibrahimovic's World Cup career is finally over as the former Manchester United star has been left out of Sweden's 2018 World Cup squad.
The 36-year-old had hinted he might come out of international retirement for him to play at the 2018 World Cup in Russia, but his hopes have been defeated.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is commonly rated as the greatest ever Swedish footballer but quit the national team after their dire showing at Euro 2016.
Many had hoped Ibrahimovic would return especially given his impact and fitness in Major League Soccer since leaving Old Trafford two months ago.
He has been impressive since he joined LA Galaxy in America and he even scored on his debut for the club.
