Lionel Messi explains he has no plan to leave Barcelona

- Lionel Messi has made it clear that he is happy at Barcelona and he does not need to leave

- There have been reports that clubs in the Chinese League want to sign him this summer

- But Messi says there is no need for him to go to any other club than for him to stay at Nou Camp

Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi has explained that he has no intention to play for any other football club in his playing career than the Catalan giants.

Lionel Messi's 14th season at the Nou Camp will come to an end this summer, but the Argentina international is not thinking of wearing another shirts.

Messi has had another successful year at the club winning his ninth La Liga and sixth Copa del Rey title.

Although he has been linked with money-spinning moves to China, the 30-year-old poured scorn on the likelihood of ever leaving Barcelona.

“I'm not tempted to leave Barcelona, There is nowhere better than Barcelona, if I wasn't here I wouldn't be anywhere.

"It's the best team in the world, the best city in the world, my children already have their friends. I do not need change.

"I fight to win everything, I do not need to go anywhere else to prove anything.

"I do not like seeing myself playing in old games, but I have incorporated a lot of new things into my way of playing,'' Lionel Messi told Tyc Sports according to Daily Star UK.

Barcelona are expected to bring more legs to the Nou Camp this summer for them to be able to challenge for the Champions League and Messi is said to have told the club the player he wants.

Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how Argentine football star Lionel Messi reportedly told Barcelona chiefs to sign Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah at the end of the ongoing season in Europe.

Mohamed Salah has been in sparkling form for Liverpool and he is currently the man of the moment in the Premier League.

The 25-year-old Egyptian forward is expected to be watched by Lionel Messi when his team Liverpool face Real Madrid in the Champions League final.
