- Ronaldo reveals the player Messi does not like Barcelona
- He said Messi wants Andre Gomes sold in the summer
- Real Madrid will play Liverpool in the Champions League final
Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed the player Lionel Messi does not want at Barcelona for next season's campaign, reported by Daily Star, quoting Don Balon.
Both players are often regarded the best players in the world with the duo spearheading their respective side’s attack.
They have 10 Ballon d’Ors, five each, and have accumulated 56 trophies between them in the last 10 years.
Their rivalry has been a big deal for the Spanish press over the years but Ronaldo and Messi have always shown respect to one another on the pitch.
However, that rivalry has once again spilled as reports from Spain claim the Argentine is unhappy with another Portuguese star as Ronaldo comes in the middle of the feud.
Back in 2016 Andre Gomes was high on Real’s shortlist but Barca came and blew them out of the water with a £32m bid.
However, since his move to Nou Camp the Portugal international has suffered nothing short of a nightmare.
In both of his seasons under Luis Enrique and Ernesto Valverde the 24-year old has been unable to hold a starting shirt.
His style of play has made Messi furious who reportedly said he does not enjoy playing with the former Valencia midfielder.
And according to Spanish media outlet Don Balon, Ronaldo is aware of this breakdown in relations, and has informed his Madrid pals.
The Portuguese is expected to leave the Catalan club in the summer with West Ham an unlikely suitor for his services.
Ronaldo has reportedly revealed this information to shatter the ‘golden boy’ image associated with Messi.
Ronaldo will have the chance to win the Champions League for the third time in a row when they face Liverpool in Kiev while Messi’s Barca have won La Liga and Copa del Rey this season.
Meanwhile NAIJ.com had earlier reported that Barca star player Messi revealed it would be difficult for him to leave the club irrespective of the price tag.
