Premier League giant, Arsenal, following the relegation of West Brom to the Championship will try to bag a £3m move for Jonny Evans, according to reports.
The Irish defender was linked to the Gunners and Manchester City last summer and again in January but went down, eventually, with Darren Moore’s ship.
The Mirror reports that Arsenal is remains interested in Evans despite the departure of Arsene Wenger, especially with Laurent Koscielny out until at least Christmas with an Achilles injury.

Evans caused a stir among observers on the last day of the season by allegedly refusing to play in the club’s final top-flight match via text message.
But the Baggies made it clear that the centre-back had permission to miss the Crystal Palace clash.
Albion said Evans was excused after full and amicable conversations with Moore who was perfectly happy with the agreement.
Albion believe suggestions that Evans sent a text saying he would not be showing up for the trip to South London is an unfair slur on the player.
Evans trained up until Friday but was unavailable for the weekend.
The former Man United defender was meant to be on the bench at Selhurst Park but his position was filled by 38-year-old Gareth McAuley, who was an unused substitute.
