- Borussia Dortmund set to battle Juventus for Alvaro Morata
- The Chelsea striker has been rumoured to leave the Blues
- Chelsea will face Man United in the FA Cup at the weekend
Bundesligas side Borussia Dortmund are reportedly set to rival Juventus for Alvaro Morata in the summer, The Sun reports.
The Canneries are on the hunt for a striker as Chelsea are not prepared to sell Michy Batshuayi who are has hit form since moving to Signa Iguna Park, the Mirror reports.
The Belgium international has been on loan at the Westfalenstadion since January scoring nine goals in 13 games before an ankle injury ended his season in April.
The 24-year-old is keen to extend his stay in Germany and the Blues could be tempted to flog Morata after a difficult first season in the Premier League.
According to reports Chelsea chiefs want Batshuayi back at Stamford Bridge for a potential new manager to be able to run the rule over the striker in pre-season.
The FA Cup final against Manchester United could be Antonio Conte’s final game in charge of the Blues.
Conte never seemed to fancy the former Marseille hitman who struggled for game time under the Italian manager during his 18 months at the club.
However the 2016/17 Premier League champions are more open to selling Morata a year after his £60m summer arrival from Real Madrid.
Morata has scored just three goals in 2018 and lost his place in the starting line-up to Olivier Giroud despite having a good start to the campaign.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had earlier reported Morata's chances of making it to the World Cup with Spain hangs in the balance.
