Premier League champions Manchester City are reportedly planning to rival Chelsea and Paris Saint Germain for the signature of Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski this summer.
The 29-year-old scored in his side’s 3-1 defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt in the DFB Pokal final on Saturday, but his goal was a mere consolation as the Eagles emerge champions of the German Cup.
Having spent four seasons at the Allianz Arena, the Poland international is ready to seek new challenge at a different club side.
And the striker already has offers on th table to lure him away from the Bundesliga if he decides to quit this summer.
According to Tribal Football citing Polish sources claim that the former Borussia Dortmund forward is on the verge of joining a new club, as his agent Pini Zahavi is busy looking for the right club for him.
Real Madrid were initially said to be interested in the attacker but they seem to have relaxes their interest in the striker, and that has given other teams the chance to battle themselves for the signature of the player.
His agent, Zahavi reportedly enjoys a cordial relationship with all three giants, but City and PSG's Champions League status is likely to see them preferred by the player ahead of Chelsea.
The former Poland youth international joined the Bavarians in 2014, and he has scored 106 goals from 126 topflight matches.
Before then, he spent four seasons at Dortmund with 74 goals from 131 matches and two Bundesliga titles to his credit at the club.
In all, he has won six German League titles, two DFB Pokals and three German Cup titles during his reign in the German topflight.
