Spanish La Liga side Atletico Madrid have arrived Uyo to honour the invitational friendly against the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
The match will be played at the Godswill Akpabio stadium.on Tuesday, May, 22 where Nigeria will field a Team B side, against the Rojiblancos.
The Atletico superstars that arrived Uyo included, Fernando Torres, Gabi, Jan Oblak, Thomas Partey, Kevin Gameiro and the likes.
Atletico Madrid coach Diego Simeone was also welcomed by Nigerians at the international airport when their plane landed.
Simeone's side confirmed their second place finish in La Liga following a 2-2 draw with visiting Eibar at the Wanda Metropolitano.
Rojiblancos also emerged winners in the Europa League after a comprehensive 3-0 victory over Marseille with Antoine Griezmann scoring a brace.
A host of home-based Eagles have been selected by Salisu Yusuf to fly Nigeria's flag against the second best side in La Liga.
Meanwhile, the Super Eagles will also take on the Democratic Republic of Congo in Port Harcourt on May, 25.
