Manchester United star Paul Pogba has traveled to the Holy land of Mecca to celebrate the start of the 2018 Ramadan with his fellow Muslims brothers who are also in Saudi Arabia.
The Frenchman arrived Saudi Arabia three days after his team Manchester United were beaten by rivals Chelsea in the final of the 2017/18 English FA Cup at Wembley.
The 25-year-old shared a video of himself on social media as he joined millions of followers in Saudi Arabia on their journey during Ramadan.
Paul Pogba is expected to link up with France squad from Saudi Arabia for their preparation ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
"Only the person that comes here would understand the feeling. So I hope the people that have never have been here yet will do one day.
"Beautiful place. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. And the feeling, I cannot even explain to you." the Frenchman explained on the video he posted on Instagram.
Considering his name, many football fans around the world have argued that Paul Pogba is not a Muslim, but he has now demonstrated in public that he is a follower of Prophet Mohammed (S.A.W).
Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported Manchester United star Paul Pogba and 28 other football stars who are observing the 2018 Muslims Ramadan which started on May 17.
The Muslims Ramadan is a 30 days program which is a must for all Islamic faithfuls to do according to the Holy Quran.
Liverpool strikers Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are also among the Muslims football stars that are taking part in the 2018 Ramadan.
