- Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale, is in the news yet again
- The Walsh attacker was snubbed by his manager Zidane for three hours after an impressive second half display from him
- This development have placed Real Madrid on high alert
Real Madrid star forward, Gareth Bale, suffered a rather surprising snub from manager, Zinedine Zidane after his Champions League wonder goal.
The Sun reports that the duo did not speak to his match winner for over 'three hours' after the 3-1 final win over Liverpool.
And according to the same report by Sun, Manchester United could move in for Bale, who would cost upwards of £200m plus £650,000 a week in wages.
Zidane left Bale on the bench for an hour, with the Welshman netting his wonder goal 122 seconds after coming on.
But when he was asked his Madrid boss had said anything in the three hours after the final whistle in Kiev, Bale shook his head.
Asked to confirm whether Zidane had spoken, Bale gave a firm: "No."
It illustrates the massive problem between the two, with Spanish midfielder Isco being preferred for the final.
Now it is up to Real president Florentino Perez to persuade Zidane they should keep the 28-year-old superstar.
United have previously tried to sign Bale, who has now won four Champions League titles in five years with Madrid.
NAIJ.com previously reported that Real Madrid have once again been crowned champions of Europe for the 13th time as they defeated Liverpool in the Champions League final by 3-1.
Karim Benzema scored the first goal in bizarre fashion as the Reds goalkeeper Lucas Karius throws the ball against the Frenchman's leg to score Madrid's first goal.
Sadio Mane produced an equalizer as he was at the right place and at the right time to score Liverpool's equalizer after Dejan Lovern flicked his header from a set piece.
