There was a pandemonium in a minor seminary in Jalingo, Taraba state on Monday, May 28, when two Catholic priests were reportedly beaten, one shot in the leg by some gunmen suspected to be herdsmen.
The Punch reports that some students were also injured and while many cars were as well destroyed in the attack.
NAIJ.com gathered that the injured people were receiving treatment at the federal medical centre.
The director of Caritas Nigeria, an agency of the Catholic Church, Rev. Fr. Evaristus Bassey, made this known in a WhatsApp message.

He said: “Please Frs, pray for us. Our minor seminary in Jalingo has just been attacked by the Fulani, some students are injured, some cars destroyed, two priests beaten and one shot on the leg. They are currently receiving treatment at FMC.”
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had reported that a video of a Catholic priest claiming to resurrect a man that was dead for three weeks, went viral on social media.
The video was shared by a Facebook user identified as Izu Nwaobi Joe Okakwu who claimed to have witnessed the miraculous event.
According to Okakwu, the priest identified as Chiedozie Modestus Chilaka did the unthinkable after he allegedly brought back a man to life in Owerri, Imo state.
