Liverpool star forward, Mo Salah, has hailed former manager Jose Mourinho when referencing to his brief stay at the Blues, as he races to be match fit for the World Cup.
The Egyptian star forward said “he learned a lot” from his former boss during his stay at Chelsea.
The 25-year-old made the comments after he suffered a shoulder injury during the Liverpool’s 3-1 Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid.
He had enjoyed a prolific goal-scoring season with the Reds – hitting the back of the net 44 times following his £34m move from Italian outfit Roma.
The Egyptian admitted he learned a lot from the Portuguese manager at Chelsea and had also learned a lot from former England star, Frank Lampard.
Speaking to his former team mate on BT Sport he said: “I learned a lot from Jose, from the club.
“We would meet each other in Chelsea, and with you (Lampard), you always used to train alone after the training and I saw you do that, I would always come to you and try to improve, and I learned a lot.”
