President Muhammadu Buhari will on Tuesday, May 29, address Nigerians in a national broadcast. The address which will be broadcasted live by 7am will commemorate the 2018 democracy day celebrations.
The presidency disclosed this on twitter on Monday, May 28.
As part of activities to commemorate the 2018 Democracy Day celebrations, President @MBuhari will make a national broadcast on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 7am. TV and radio stations are enjoined to hook up to the network services of @NTANewsNow and @FrcnNews for the broadcast.
However, the president is currently at the International Conference Centre, Abuja for the 2018 democracy day Lecture with the theme ‘Peace Building and Good Governance for Sustainable Development'.
Disclosing this on twitter, Bashir Ahmad, President aide wrote: "President @MBuhari arrives at the International Conference Centre, Abuja for the 2018 #DemocracyDay Lecture, theme; ‘Peace Building and Good Governance for Sustainable Development’, delivered by Professor Attahiru Jega, former INEC chairman."
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com had reported that the vice president, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, on Sunday, May 27, in Abuja, urged Nigerians not to look back, rather to look forward and move forward.
He assured Nigerians that the Lord will fight for them and they will no longer be derailed by the claws of injustice and corruption threatening to destroy the country.
