The recently observed public holiday for Children's Day witnessed a lot of Nigerian celebrities using the opportunity to gush over their kids.
Being a celebrity isn't exactly the easiest thing to do. Coupled with the busy schedule, balancing a healthy family life and a bubbling career isn't a gift most celebrities posses.
However, despite the craziness that comes with living on the fast lane, some of these celebrities have proven that nothing beats family, especially when it comes to their children.
From Ubi Franklin, Timi Dakolo down to Nollywood actress, Omoni Oboli, their heartfelt messages to their children is simply adorable. See some of their messages below:
1. Timi Dakolo
Timi's love for his family is something everyone knows about. From his songs and social media post, it is easy to deduce that he loves his family dearly.
He shared a video with his kids and captioned, "“HAPPY CHILDREN’S TO MINE. MY VERY YARD PEOPLE. MY CALM PLACE FROM ALL THE CRAZINESS IN THIS WORLD. IF I HAD TO DO THIS AGAIN, I WILL CHOOSE THIS BUNCH WITHOUT BLINKING AN EYELID. I PROMISE TO ALWAYS DO MY BEST. JUST FOR YOU,” .
2. Tonto Dikeh
Mama King, as she calls herself, tells anyone who cares to know how much her son, Andre, means to her and Children's Day was no different.

3. Omoni Oboli
The proud mother of 3 boys shared a cute photo with her sons and wrote, "“My reason @tobeoboli @gozioboli @chizioboli you make me the happiest woman alive! Happy children’s day to all our children. May God bless them and protect them. May we never have reason to cry over any of them,” .
4. Ufuoma Mcdermott

5. Ubi Franklin
Despite his busy schedule with his chain of businesses, Ubi Franklin has continued to prove that time with his children is as precious to him as life itself.
On Children's Day, he share a photo with them and wrote:

6. Seun Kuti
One of Nigerian music legend, Fela Kuti's s son, Seun Kuti also used the opportunity of Children's Day to showw off his cute daughter.
Sharing a video of the adorable girl telling him she loves him, he captioned it with, "I love u too baby. Happy children’s day!!"
Nigerian indigenous rapper, Olamide was not left out in the celebration. He shared a lovely photo with his daughter. In a hilarious caption, he wished his cute 'bati bobo' a happy Chidren's Day.
He wrote, "Happy children’s day to my bati bobo and all the guys wey still Dey s*ck bobby ! we are the world, we are the children "
8. AY Makun
Popular Nigerian comedian, Ay celebrated his talented daughter in a rather unique way. He shared a video of her playing a tune from the popular Sound Of Music, after which she wished all the kids around the world a happy Children's Day. See post below:
