The saying that the way a man is dressed determine the way he will be addressed has come to play here.
A male hairstylist, Idowu Oluwatosin Olakunle, was arrested by the police in Lagos on Monday, May 28, at Ojota for looking like a lady.
Olakunle who took to his Instagram page to narrate the ugly incident claimed he was on his way to style a client’s hair in a commercial bus when the vehicle he boarded was stopped by a guy who later identified himself to be a policeman.
He claimed he was told to identify himself which he did but was told he looked like a girl. Based on this allegation, he was arrested and taken from Ojota to Iwaya police station where he was held behind the bar from 9am to 4pm.
