Nollywood actress Tonto Dike visits prison inmates in Niger state

- Beautiful Nigerian actress Tonto Dike recently visited prison inmates at Suleja in Niger state

- She said that the prisoners deserve to be happy despite their situation

- The mum of one also donated some relief materials and interacted with the inmates

It's no doubt that Tonto Dike has lifted many souls through her charity organization Tonto Dike Foundation. Many people have benefited from her kind deeds.

The actress on Tuesday, May 29, visited prison inmates at Suleja in Niger state to share some happy moments with them and generally cheer them up.

While speaking during her visit, she said the inmates deserve to be happy in spite of their condition and they need to be reminded that they have bright futures ahead.

Tonto, who visited under the auspice of her foundation donated several relief materials, including money to inmates.

The actress in an interview with NAN said that the foundation, is her humanitarian initiative, which empowers and provides succor to the less privileged and vulnerable Nigerians.

She said: “In line with our vision, I have come here to let the inmates know that we are not giving up on them and that they have a bright future ahead outside of this place,” she said.

“Whatever happens, they are still Nigerians, and needed to know that today is our Democracy day, and being made happy. They still have a lot to contribute to the society irrespective of their present circumstances.”
