According to recent reports, Senator Benjamin Uwajumogu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) national convention committee secretary has resigned from office, Vanguard reports.

According to a statement signed by Godson Amadikwa, his secretary, it was gathered that the decision to resign from the committee was taken for personal reasons and also to advance the progress of the APC in Imo state.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that some leaders of the APC in the southeast had endorsed the retention of national officers representing the zone at the party’s National Working Committee (NWC).

Orji Kalu, a former governor of Abia, stated this after a meeting of the stakeholders on Thursday, May 31, in Abuja.
