Liverpool striker Sadio Mane is said to have agreed deal to sign for current European League champions Real Madrid before the exit of Frenchman Zinedine Zidane.
Sadio Mane caught the eyes of Real Madrid chiefs following his superb performance against Los Blancos in the final of the 2017/18 Champions League.
But Zidane's shock decision to walk away from the Bernabeu means that the deal has become complicated.
According to the report by France Football, Real Madrid had agreed personal terms with the Senegal international and all that needed to be done was to agree fee with Liverpool.
Sadio Mane's fate of joining Real Madrid could now be determined by the manager that will replace Zinedine Zidane at the Bernabeu this summer.
Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane announced his resignation as the head coach of Los Blancos.
The Frenchman led the Galacticos to their third straight Champions League triumph after beating Liverpool 3-1 in Kiev on Saturday, May 26.
He joined the Santiago Bernabeu outfit in the winter of 2016 after taking over from Rafael Benitez after working with the club's Castilla side.
