A family in Masala town in Ndola, Zambia has been left in shock after a daughter of theirs who was presumed dead resurfaced after two years. The girl had been reported dead due to an illness.
It was gathered that at the time the girl identified simply as Winnie who was presumed dead due to illness, had been taken to the morgue and she was later buried at the Mitingo cemetery.
Two years after the presumed death, the girl resurfaced leaving her family and the entire community in a shocking situation. She revealed that a banana tree had been buried in her place at the time.
NAIJ.com discovered that the police have been called in to investigate the matter. Hundreds of residents were said to have gathered to witness the incident as the police and Winnie's family waited for a DNA test to be authorized and conducted on the girl.
