Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has reportedly sent a summer transfer update to Real Madrid claiming he would only join them on one condition.
De Gea has for years being a target for current European League champions who are said to be looking for replacement for current number one Keylor Navas.
In the year 2015, David De Gea almost joined Manchester United, but a late fax ended any hope of a move to the Bernabeu.
And according to the latest report by Spanish news outlet Diario Gol, David De Gea has told Real Madrid chiefs that he would leave Manchester United if he is guaranteed of the number 1 shirt at Real Madrid.
The 27-year-old has no intention of sharing his position with another goalkeeper at the Bernabeu.
Earlier, NAIJ.com had reported how Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly told Real Madrid chiefs to bring Manchester United goalie David De Gea to the club next season.
The Spanish goalkeeper has for years being a target for Los Blancos, and Ronaldo believes Real Madrid can sign the Spaniard at the end of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
