Nigerian driver recounts how he returned the N900k forgotten in his car by a woman

It is the most honourable thing to find something that doesn't belong to you and have the courage to return it, especially something as valuable as money. Even people who are financially stable find it difficult to return lost money.

A Nigerian man has showed the world what it means to be honourable after he returned N900,000 back to it's owner. The young man who works as a taxi service driver had picked up a female passenger who ended up forgetting her money in his car.

The man identified as Wahab Olaatanda who shared the story on his Instagram page, revealed that he had gotten a call from the woman who asked if he saw the money in his car.

According to him, they agreed to meet up so he could return the $2,460 (N900,000) which was in an envelope.

Olaatanda stated that the woman had told him that the money was meant for her mortgage, adding that she had given him $100 (36,000).

He wrote: "Okay something has happen again right here,make I do uber hustle get some change oo, this lady forgot dis envelope in my car,in it is $2460,she called some minutes after,I'm so glad I returned it and she's so happy, she almost cried, said it's meant for her mortgage,she gave $100 which I'm more contended with Dan d $2460. Oya now. I'm feeling so good right now."
