2019: Nigeria’s next president will be decided on the streets - Keyamo

Festus Keyamo (SAN), director, strategic communications of President Muhammadu Buhari’s campaign organisation, has stated that the next president of Nigeria will be decided on the streets of the country.

He made the comment in a post on his Twitter handle, @fkeyamo, on Monday, June 11.

Legit.ng notes that the legal luminary pointed out that the era in which Nigeria’s president(s) were decided by military generals, has gone.

His comments however elicited mixed reactions from social media users; with some lashing out at the senior advocate:

This follower is of the opinion that Buhari benefited from such actions by the generals.

This one thinks Keyamo is a disappointment to many.

Legit.ng previously reported that Festus Keyamo said that the 2019 presidential election will be easily and effortlessly won by President Buhari.

He further cited the president’s achievements which will make the re-election bid easy for him.
