Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford arrived in Russia with a 'slight knock'according to England boss Gareth Southgate.

The 20-year-old forward will be assessed by medical staff before tomorrow's first training session.

Three Lions coach Southgate confirmed the news as his squad reached their St Petersburg head quarters.

There has been talk of a 13ft wall to keep things away from public eyes but it looked far from that as fans peered over with the team about to arrive.

Rashford made a strong case for selection with a stunning strike in the 2-0 win over Costa Rica in England's warm up match.

But SunSport exclusively revealed Southgate will opt for Dele Alli, Jesse Lingar, and Raheem Sterling behind Harry Kane in the line up against Tunisia.

Liverpool's Jordan Henderson has beaten Tottenham's Eric Dier to play in England’s anchor role on Monday as they look to get off to a strong start.

While Danny Rose could likely to start at wing-back ahead of Ashley Young, with Tottenham team-mate Kieran Trippier on the left-flank.

Following Tunisia, England's next match will be against Panama next Sunday before the final group game against their supposed toughest opponent, Belgium, on June, 28.

Southgate's only current injury worry is Rashford's knock and the Three Lions boss did not seem too concerned.

And it has been confirmed by Sky Sports Rashford will not train with the rest of the squad which could rule him of of the tie against the North African side.
