After Nemanja Matic's social media post, Manchester United will be hoping he brings his Serbia teammate Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to Old Trafford.

The Lazio man midfielder is expected to make a £78m move from Italian side this summer, with Jose Mourinho heading the queue for the Serbian.

The 6ft 4inch powerhouse looks the perfect to partner for Matic, allowing Paul Pogba to roam freely in a more advance role.

And the former Chelsea defensive midfielder has got United fans excited about a Premier League reunion for the pair once the World Cup is over.

Alongside a photo of the engine-room double act in battle, Matic wrote: “Together we are always stronger”.

And Southampton man Dusan Tadic has also told United fans what to expect from the hot prospect.

The Serbian Saint said: “He is a good player, he is young.

“He can learn a lot of things but he has a big talent.

"He has the capacity to go far. That’s it. He is the future of Serbian football.

"I say to him to just be calm and work smart and he does. He needs to work for his team and then after he can show his qualities.

"I think he is a clever guy. He is a good boy and he just needs to keep his head calm.

"There is a big future for him."
