Abuja-based barber offers to help the federal government save N86m off the nation's budget

- A Nigerian man has offered to cut President Muhammadu Buhari's hair for free

- According to him, the N86m budgeted for the hair cut of the president can be saved

- He went on to propose that part of the money should rather go into building 2 healthcare centers

The social media age has provided platforms for many people to sell their services to people no matter their status that may be in need and for this Nigerian man, it was no different.

Identified as Alfred Umoh, the Abuja-based barber recently took to the social media to send a rather interesting proposal to President Buhari. According to his post on Facebook, rather than spend the budgeted N86m on haircuts, he is willing to give him free hair cuts for the whole year.

He wrote,"Att #ThePresidency The Management of HILTONCLEAN BARBERS, a classy barbing saloon in Abuja hereby offer to give the President of the federal republic of Nigeria President Muhamedu Buhari a free one year hair cut and treatment.. This is to help the federal government to save N86 millions budgeted for the President's haircut in the 2018 appropriation act.

The money should rather be use to build 2 primary health care centers in my State of AkwaIbom and 1 here in Abuja at the cost of N28 million each.. My little way of helping the Government...This government seriously need help."
