A Nigerian Twitter user identified as Oladimeji recently recounted his experience with Special Anti-robbery Squad (SARS). According to the distressed young man, who shared the details on his Twitter page, the officers stopped him and his wife while they rode in a taxi on June 23.

They stated that the reason for their interrogation was his mode of dressing. Oladimeji revealed that after he was stopped, they immediately took his phone and started ransacking it for evidence to back their suspicions.

When such evidence didn't come up, they went through other things on the phone and stumbled on unclad photos of his wife and acted like it was nothing. They went on with their apparent harassment and disregarded the privacy invasion
