Spanish champions Barcelona are reportedly preparing a mouthwatering summer move for Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus.

This comes following the decision of Frenchman Antoine Griezmann to stay at Atletico Madrid, and the Catalan club are now seeking an alternative attacking signing.

According to the report by AS, coach Ernesto Valverde and new football chief Eric Abidal are in agreement over Gabriel's qualities and his potential to fit into Barca's playing system.

But the deal now depends on Gabriel Jesus' decision if he would love to move to the Spanish club after the end of the 2018 World Cup in Brazil.

Gabriel who is representing Brazil at the World Cup in Russia helped Manchester City to win the Premier League title last season.

Jesus began his career at Palmeiras and was voted the best newcomer of the 2015 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A a year in which he also helped his team win the Copa do Brasil.

He joined Manchester City in January 2017 for a transfer fee of €32 million and won the Premier League and EFL Cup in 2018.
