Real Madrid reportedly set to offer Ronaldo plus £44m for Lukaku in swap deal

- Real Madrid are interested in the Man United striker

Belgium’s Manchester United star, Romelu Lukaku is on the wish list of Champions League winners’ Real Madrid this summer with the Galaticos set to offer Cristiano Ronaldo to Manchester United in a mega swap deal, suggest reports.

The Belgian is looking good at the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Russia, scoring four goals in two Group G games.

According to the UK Daily Star report, citing sources at Spain’s Diario Gol, fondly known for extravagant transfer reports, suggest that the Los Blancos are willing to also offer Ronaldo as well as £44m (€50m) for the 25-year-old former Chelsea forward.

The report further revealed that the Old Trafford side were initially plotting a move for the 33-year-old Portuguese superstar.

And the Los Blancos and Red Devils’ eggheads have commenced talks over Ronaldo’s mega swap deal.

However, no deal involving the Portuguese star will see the light of the day until after the ongoing global football fiesta.

On the other hand, Lukaku was only considered for the bench role during Belgium’s 1-0 win over England on Thursday having secured their place in the last 16 rounds.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously had reported Ronaldo has declared his intention to leave the Santiago Bernabeu for Manchester United’s Old Trafford this summer.

Ronaldo joined the Galaticos from Red Devils in 2009 and has won several silverware with the La Liga giants, which includes four Uefa Champions Leagues, two La Liga titles as well as other individual prizes.
