The former Sevilla boss bought the Frenchman during his spell at the Spanish side as both player and manager went on to claim the Europa League in their first campaign together.

Emery has already shown his intention of changing Arsenal’s fortune in the coming season and has no doubt that N'Zonzi’s arrival would strengthen the team’s midfield.

Interestingly, after quitting the English topflight in 2015 for £7million in the summer of 2015, N’Zonzi ejoyed a lift in his career as he is presently with the French national team preparing for the semifinal clash with Belgium at the ongoing World Cup in Russia.

However, Arsenal must cough out about £35m to offset his buy-out clause which was included before extending his present one-year deal with Sevilla last February.

The UK Sun report further suggested that Juventus are equally plotting a deal to drag N'Zonzi to Italy while dangling the prospect of Champions League football next campaign.
