The Punch quotes him as saying Buhari “is destined to lose the 2019 election and lose his deposit.”

He also alleged that members of his political group had faced death threats since they left the APC through messages. He said they have also received messages of solidarity since they broke away from the APC.

Galadima, who recently revealed that he had been with Buhari since 2002 and was secretary to the defunct Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), added that the president knows he may not win the election.

“Let us not forget that the man we will be facing is a military general. We are ready, prepared to take on this fight despite their intimidation and threats.

“I know him but if I were his adviser, I would tell him not to contest,” he said.
