President Buhari won't lose sleep over CUPP - APC youth leader

- Reactions continue to trail the merger of over 34 political parties against the All Progressives Congress (APC)

- The coalition has been described as a 'brief case political parties' by the APC national youth leader, Sadiq S. Abubakar

- According to him, Nigerians are intelligent people who know the difference between a PDP government looted the treasury and the ruling APC government that is laying a solid foundation

APC national youth leader, Sadiq S. Abubakar, on Monday, July 9, dismissed the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) and its sponsors, describing them as 'brief case political parties.'

He said the sponsors of the coalition as serial election losers, who specialize in jumping from one party to another, adding that President Muhammadu Buhari won't be perturbed by their existence.

Abubakar went on to say the postulation that his party will suffer defeat in the 2019 elections only exists in the figment of imagination of members of the coalition.

“They are a bunch of brief case political parties and President Muhammadu Buhari will not lose sleep over them.

“Nigerians are intelligent people who have watched governments come and go and are able to differentiate between a PDP government that stole them blind and the President Muhammadu Buhari led APC government that is laying a solid foundation for a great and prosperous Nigeria,” Abubakar said in a statement.

He opined that never again will Nigerians be deceived by a party that is at best a cesspool of corrupt politicians scheming to return to power so they can continue to loot the treasury.

“I repeat, Buhari will not lose sleep over shenanigans by corrupt PDP elements and some brief case parties because as the saying goes, 'you can lie to a blind man that there is oil in the food but you cannot lie to him that there is salt when there is none'," he added.
