Chelsea are yet to sort out the managerial head. Conte resumed pre-season duties on Monday at their Cobham training base but is still linked with a move away from the Premier League club as the club’s eggheads want to install Conte’s compatriot Sarri as new manager

However, he is still under Napoli’s payroll despite the Serie A club naming ex-Blues coach Carlo Ancelotti as manager.

Club’s owner Roman Abramovich is working behind the scene to resolve the impasse before the commencement of hostilities on August 11.
