Many Nigerians travel out of the country to hold their white wedding but this Igbo man decided to bring the Nigerian culture all the way to Australia with him.
The groom identified as Leonard Dukes held the ceremony in Melbourne, Victoria, just to celebrate the Igbo culture with his bride and her family.
In the videos of the event, you could see that the new bride and her family were excited to be part of the beautiful culture as they were seen smiling and dancing to the rhythm of the traditional music being played.
The lady was dressed in a red and orange ankara, the same ankara the groom rocked. She performed every tradition, even the tradition of searching for her husband to give him a cup of wine.
Her friends also danced around with her in their asoebi just like any other Igbo bride would have done with her friends.
