FA Cup champions Chelsea are finally gearing up to sort out their managerial impasse after Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis admitted that the Blues are nearing a £50m double swoop for Maurizio Sarri as well as midfielder Jorginho.

According to a UK Telegraph report, the Stamford Bridge outfit have been locked in talks with Napoli over naming Sarri as Antonio Conte’s successor after last season’s campaign, but have not sealed an agreement.

Gladly, it now appears the Blues’ are finally set to splash out about £50 million, plus £7m as bonuses, to land the duo of Sarri and Jorginho, who was previously linked to Manchester City.

The report further revealed that reports in Italy suggest that Cesc Fabregas is likely to move to the Serie A side, but additional information coming out of London insist the Spanish international Telegraph is not disposed to joining Napoli this summer.

Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously had reported that Chelsea’s Italian manager Antonio Conte has refused to accept the Blues pre-season programmes, despite being linked with a move out of Stamford Bridge before the commencement of the new campaign, reports suggest.

According to a UK Sun report, citing sources at The Times disclosed that a member of the club’s technical staff emailed players that did not participate in the ongoing Mundial in Russia, to return to training at the club’s facility this weekend but the Italian discarded the mail, insisting that they players’ can wait until Monday before resuming.

Already, eggheads of the Premier League side have labeled the former Juventus manager a failure despite claiming the FA Cup last term, after losing the league silverware as well as failure to make Champions League spot.
