Adeosun NYSC certificate saga: Lai Mohammed speaks

Lai Mohammed who is the minister of information and culture has said that the government has already spoken on the controversy surrounding the alleged forgery of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) exemption certificate by Kemi Adeosun.

The minister of finance was accused of submitting a forged NYSC exemption certificate during her screening process.

Channels TV reports that Mohammed spoke on Wednesday, July 11, saying there was nothing else to add.

He said: “The government has spoken. NYSC is part of the government and I have nothing to add to what the NYSC has said.”

Legit.ng had reported that the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) reportedly reacted to the report on the alleged fake exemption certificate presented by the minister of finance, Kemi Adeosun.

According to Premium Times, the NYSC, however, acknowledged on Monday, July 9, that she applied for an exemption certificate.

Adenike Adeyemi who is the NYSC director of public relations in a statement said an investigation will be carried out.
