Portugal’s superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is billed to undergo the routine medicals at Juventus’ training centre on Monday morning before being unveiled later in the day to seal the £105m switch from Spanish side Real Madrid.
According to Sky Italy sources, the 33-year-old Ronaldo will also attend an interview session in his first official press conference since quitting the Los Blancos for the Serie A outfit.
The Portuguese netted 451 times in 438 appearances for the Galaticos during the nine seasons he spent at the Spanish topflight.
In a post on Los Blancos website, the five-time world’s best player revealed that he requested to move on as "the time has come for a new cycle".
Ronaldo equally confirmed that his stay at the Los Blancos after his then world-record fee of £80m from Premier League side Manchester United, was "possibly the happiest of my life".
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com previously had reported that an Italian trade union consisting Fiat workers in Melfi, Italy are proceeding on an industrial action following Ronaldo's €100 million switch to Juventus, reports suggest.
The Los Blancos confirmed on Tuesday that the Portugal star would be quitting the club to join Serie A champions.
However, as soon as the news of the potential transfer deal went viral, Fiat workers threatened to take action against their employers.
The car manufacturer Fiat, to which the brand Ferrari exclusively belongs, is reportedly 29.1 percent owned by the Agnelli family, who also hold about 63.77 percent of Juventus.
